I am a London based UKCP Accredited and BACP Registered psychotherapist working with individuals and couples.
I have a BA in Psychology and an MSc in Psychological Therapies. I am in the process of completing a doctorate programme in Existential Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have been practising in various organisations in London, such as Imece Women’s Centre, NHS East London Foundation Trust Cognitive Analytical Team, Centre For Better Health, as well as my private practice.
I have specialised in treating trauma using different techniques such as EMDR (Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing), and Existential Psychotherapy. I am also trained for Cognitive Analytical Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy, all integrated into an existential/humanistic framework. Throughout the years I found out that the integrative, tailor-made approach works wonders especially dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, phobias, relationship issues and various psychological/psychosomatic difficulties.
I offer online sessions on Skype and Zoom as well as face to face sessions.
I am a recognised practitioner by health insurers Axa, Aviva and Vitality.
According to BACP’s (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) definition; ‘Counselling and psychotherapy are umbrella terms that cover a range of talking therapies. They are delivered by trained practitioners who work with people over a short or long term to help them bring about effective change or enhance their wellbeing.’
I offer affordable individual, and couples therapy (long term or short term) for adults who are having difficulties in the following areas;
sense of detachment from others
sense of helplessness
anxiety and panic attacks
loss of self-esteem
intimate partner violence,
loss of meaning and purpose in life
trauma-related psychological and psychosomatic symptoms.
Please note that I now have a limited availability for face
